CALL FOR BIDS FOR CONSULTANTS IN PROMOTION OF YOUTH AND WOMEN EMPLOYMENT IN
RENEWABLE ENERGY AND E-MOBILITY IN KENYA PROJECT.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft fiir Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is a federal-owned international cooperation enterprise that implements German development policy objectives around the world. Under the Employment Promotion for Women for the Green Transformation in Africa (WE4D) Kenya seeks Consultants specializing gender, curriculum development, mentorship program development, management of local subsidies, and monitoring & evaluation as service providers to support one of its projects; “Promotion of Youth and Women Employment in Renewable Energy and E-Mobiiity in Kenya”\n the provision of services relating to:
- Mentorship Program Development: Create and maintain a mentorship program connecting experienced professionals in the renewable energy and e-mobility sectors with newly trained trainees.
- Local subsidies management: Distribution of resources across partner TVET institution.
- Curriculum Development: Curriculum development through the DACUM methodology. This involves creating gender-sensitive curricula for the e-mobility sector and adapting the existing Solar Photovoltaic Installer II curriculum to meet gender-sensitive standards. The process will ensure that the training materials are comprehensive, relevant, and aligned with industry needs.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Implementation of a robust monitoring and evaluation system to document project lessons and best practices across various counties. This includes regular assessments to track progress, identify gaps, and measure the impact of project activities.
