INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT COVER (GPA) /WORK INJURY BENEFIT ACT COVER(WIBA), GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE (GLA) INSURANCE SERVICES FOR GARISSA UNIVERSITY STAFF AND INSURANCE OF STUDENTS GOING FOR SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES [MUSIC AND DRAMA]
TENDER NUMBER: GaU/006/OT/2024-2025:
1. Garissa University invites sealed tenders for the Provision of group personal accident (GLA) cover /work
injury benefit act cover(WIBA), group life assurance (GLA) insurance services for Garissa University staff
and insurance of students going for sports and recreational activities [music and drama] for a period of
twenty-four (24) months.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method and is open to all
eligible and interested underwriters.
3. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office working hours, Monday to Friday between 0900hrs to 1600hrs
except for public holidays and weekends at the address given below.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.gau.ac.ke
or www.tenders.go.ke .Tenderers who download the tender document must forward the
particulars immediately to procurement@gau.ac.ke to facilitate any further clarification or
addendum.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security (Bid bond) of Kenya
Shillings 126,000.00 in form of bank guarantee or PPRA approved list of insurance
companies and must be valid for (150 days).
6. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 29 th November 2024 at 11.00
a.m. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
Tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be dropped at the Supply Chain Management
office. Late tenders will be rejected.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the Tenderers’
designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
