UPGRADE OF ZIMBRA COLLABORATION SUITE; SUPPLY OF ADDITIONAL ZIMBRA LICENSES; & SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND INTEGRATION OF ANTI-SPAM GATEWAY
SOLUTION
1. Office of the Controller of Budget (OCOB) invites tenders from interested bidders for Upgrade of Zimbra
Collaboration Suite; Supply of Additional Zimbra License; and Supply, Installation and Integration of
Anti-Spam Gateway Solution for the OCOB Offices vide Tender No. OCOB/ONT/001/2024-2025.
2. I n t e r e s t e d eligible candidates may obtain further information from Agency’s website,
www.cob.go.ke or inspect the tender documents at the Supply Chain Management Office, Bima
House, 9th Floor, Harambee Avenue P.O. Box 35616 – 00100 Nairobi during normal office
working hours. (8:00 am – 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm).
3. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of the
non-refundable fee of Kshs.1,000.00 or can be downloaded from Office of the Controller of Budget
Website www.ocob.go.ke free of charge. Bidders who download the documents MUST register
their details with the Agency using the following email address: ikumubc@cob.go.ke or
khatiebihm@cob.go.ke
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender Security of Kshs.80,000 issued by a financial
institution or Insurance Company regulated by IRA and be listed at PPRA Website.
5. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender
reference number and description and deposited in the Tender Box “Upgrade of Zimbra
Collaboration Suite; Supply of Additional Zimbra License; and Supply, Installation and
Integration of Anti-Spam Gateway Solution” vide Tender No. OCOB/ONT/001/2024-2025 with
the instructions “Do Not Open Before WEDNESDAY, 11TH DECEMBER, 2024 at 11.00 am (East
Africa Time)” and addressed to:

Must be deposited in the tender box provided at Office of the Controller of Budg et,
Harambee Avenue 9
th Floor to be addressed to, Controller of Budget, P.O Box 35616 – 00100,
Nairobi to be received on or before WEDNESDAY, 11TH DECEMBER, 2024 at 11.00 am (East
Africa Time). Late tenders will be rejected no matter the circumstances.
6. Tenders will be opened immediately at the Controller of Budget Boardroom on WEDNESDAY, 11TH
DECEMBER, 2024 at 11.00am (East African Time). Tenders will be publicly opened in the
presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend.
