GIZ TENDER DECEMBER 2024
INVITATION TO TENDER |
CONSULTANCY TO DEVELOP THE KENYA NATIONAL COOKING TRANSITION STRATEGY ACTION
PLAN (2024-2028) AND INVESTMENT PROSPECTUS
The Ministry of the Energy and Petroleum and other partners developed the Kenya National Cooking Transition Strategy 2024-2028. The Strategy identifies the current state of cooking, barriers to clean cooking adoption, target setting for future states, and a logical framework for interventions as well as the budgetary resources to fully implement the strategy over the period 2024 to 2028.
Among the recommendations made in the strategy was that the Ministry develops an action plan to ensure objective implementation of the strategy as well development of the investment prospectus (pitching deck) to be used to pitch to potential investors. The Ministry with support from the GCF project: Promotion of Climate Friendly Cooking in Kenya is following up on these recommendations by developing a detailed action plan derived from the Strategy, which will serve as a practical and executable roadmap to guide stakeholders through the implementation phase of the Strategy’s 5-point agenda.
