Aldai Girls Secondary School wishes to invite eligible and qualified contractors for construction of a Dining Hall/Kitchen Block.

Interested eligible bidders should know that only those who meet the criteria below and have relevant supportive documents at submission will be considered for technical evaluation.

1. A bid Bond which must be in the form of a Bank Guarantee from a reputable Bank or an insurance from a company approved by the Public Procurement and Regulatory Authority (PPRA) at 2% of Tender sum.
2. Valid tax compliance certificate
3. Certificate of Registration or Incorporation
4. Audited accounts for the past three [3] years.
5. A valid National Construction Authority [NCA] Registration NCA 6 and above.
6. Proof of adequate equipment to carry out the work
7. Proof of financial ability to carry out the work
8. Proof of qualified personnel to carry out the work
9. Proof of works of similar magnitude undertaken in the last three [3) years.
10. Access to credit facility from a reputable Bank in Kenya.

Interested and eligible bidders may inspect and obtain tender documents from the Principals office, Aldai Girls Secondary School upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1000, payable in cash during the working hours from Monday to Friday.

Complete Bid documents enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender name and number and bearing no indication of the bidder should be addressed to:

And placed in the tender Box at the Administration Block, or send by post so as to reach the above address not later than 3^rd March, 2020 at 10.00am. Bids w be opened immediately after the above stated date and time in the school’s Board Room in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will not be considered.
