INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ECDE TEXTBOOKS
TENDER NUMBER: CGK/EDU/T/002/2024/2025
The County Government of Kericho, Department of Education, Culture, Libraries, and Social Services
invites sealed tenders for the supply of goods: Supply and Delivery of ECDE Textbooks
1. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National Open Tender using a standardized
tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Tendering is open to all Enterprises registered appropriately
3. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one lot – N/A
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 08:30 to 16:30 Hours at the address given below.
5. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of
a non- refundable fees of Ksh 1000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given
below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website www.kericho.go.ke. Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
6. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.kericho.go.ke.
Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
supplychain@kericho.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security or Bid Bond of Ksh 200,000(Two Hundred Thousand
Kenyan Shillings)in form of a bank guarantee issued by a bank registered in Kenya and or a guarantee by an
insurance company registered and licensed by the insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Authority, a
guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 14th April, 2025 10:00:00AM in
addition to electronic Tenders submitted through the IFMIS supplier portal supplier.treasury.go.ke

10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above at the County
Government Headquarters conference Hall situated at the ground floor. Tenders will be publicly opened in
the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected.
