The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation development Project-Conditional Liquidity Support Grant (CLSG] II, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts as below detailed
Kirinyaga County Water and Sanitation PLC (KICOWASCO] invites interested and eligible bidders for the following tenders

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids [RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised 5~ Edition September2023 (“Procurement Regulations”], which can be found in the following website: www.worldbank.org/procurement and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information inspect the Tender Documents during office hours from 8AM to PM and 2PM – 5 PM from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays at the address given below.
The bidding document in English may be downloaded free of charge from the company’s website www.kicowasco.co.ke
Bidders who download the bidding documents are required to notify the purchaser by email with full contact details that they intended to participate
Immediately to info@kicowasco.co.ke , this will facilitate issuance of notifications by the Purchaser, to all bidders where necessary.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security in form of a bank guarantee as shown below:
- Construction of 3no. Pipeline Extensions and Supply, Delivery & Installation of Meters and Fittings Kshs482,985.00
- Supply, delivery & installation of GIS Software and Supply & delivery of2no GPS Machines 72,408.00
- Supply and Delivery of 8no. New Motorcycles – Kshs 25,592.00
Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelope clearly marked with Tender Number and Tender description shall be deposited in the Tender
Box located at our main office in Kerugoya at the customer care/front desk or sent by post addressed to.
