The Kenya Shipyards Limited [KSL] is a newly incorporated State-owned corporation with a vision to catalyze development of shipbuilding industry in Eastern Africa. KSL seeks to initiate and develop the growth of shipbuilding industry through provision of world class maritime services, repairs, maintenance, refits and construction of ships. The Kenya Shipyards Limited invites Expression of Interest from eligible/ competent firms to undertake the following:

OBJECTIVE
The objective of the consultancy is to support the development of optimal Organizational Structures and Processes and Business Strategy for The Kenya Shipyards Limited [KSL]. The scope of the consultancy will include the following key components among others:
- a)Defining an optimal organisation structure for Kenya Shipyards Limited.
- b)Developing initial Human Resource and Organizational Processes including Overall Standard Operating Procedures for efficiency and effectiveness for Kenya Shipyards Limited.
- c)Conducting Executive Search towards recruiting Heads of Kenya Shipyards Limited Key Departments.
- d)Developing Business Strategy, laying out the Strategic Planning Framework and defining appropriate Metrics for Measuring Performance at Kenya Shipyards Limited.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015 and the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Regulation 2020 which are available in the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://www.ppra.go.ke
The Expression of Interest [EOI] bids in envelope clearly marked ‘Expression of Interest for KSL Consultancy Services’ and addressed to the Managing Director to be deposited in the tender box at Ulinzi Gate, Lenana Road, Nairobi on or before 23 December, 2020 at 10.00 a.m. East African Time.
Large documents that cannot fit in the tender box shall be received and registered at the Ulinzi Gate, Lenana Road for processing.
