TENDER FOR COMPLETION OF THE 132KV NANYUKI -ISIOLO TRANSMISSION LINE
TENDER NUMBER: KETRACO/PT/007/2021
The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) is a State corporation whose mandate is to plan, design, operate, own and maintain high voltage electricity transmission lines and substations throughout the country.
KETRACO as the Government of Kenya implementing agency on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, now invites bids from eligible bidders for the execution of works for the completion of the 132kV Nanyuki – Isiolo transmission line.
The major works to be carried out by the Contractor shall comprise of but not be limited to the Inspection, Design, Supply, Construction and Commissioning for the completion of part of the 71km 132kV Nanyuki – Isiolo single circuit overhead transmission line.
The General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Fidic Silver Book (second edition 2017): Conditions of Contract for EPC/Turnkey Projects.
KETRACO tenders run on SAP ARIBA e-procurement platform and therefore the tender document detailing the requirements can be viewed by clicking on the link in KETRACO website (www.ketraco.co.ke/tenders/open-tenders) beginning on Tuesday 16th February 2021.

Complete bid documents must be electronically submitted through SAP ARIBA platform on or before Wednesday 21st April 2021 at 10:00am East Africa time and must be accompanied by a bid security as outlined in the bidding document.
Bids will be opened electronically promptly thereafter in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend in KETRACO Supply Chain Management Offices at KAWI Complex, Block B, South C, Nairobi.
