PROPOSED CONTAINER FABRICATIONS TO DEVELOP PREVENTION CENTERS IN MOMBASA, NAKURU, KISUMU,HOMABAY AND NAIROBI COUNTIES

The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) is a humanitarian relief organization created by an Act of Parliament, Cap 256 of the Laws of Kenya on 21st December 1965. Its vision is to be the most effective, trusted and self-sustaining humanitarian organization in Kenya.

Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) with funding from Global Fund is currently partnering with National Aids and STI Control Program (NASCOP) to develop prevention centers in Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Homabay and Nairobi Counties that aims to provide a one-stop shop model (Clinic) that will encompass provision of health information, access to health education materials, counseling, screening and referral of an integrated package of services.

The centres are envisioned that they will increase uptake of HIV prevention services among persons at a substantial ongoing risk of contracting HIV and linking them to appropriate HIV prevention methods.

The Society therefore invites tenderers to fabricate containers into prevention centers to support the programme. Those who download the documents and intend to submit a bid must register to the tenders’ email address indicated on the website for recording and for the purpose of receiving any clarification and addenda. All queries and request for clarifications should be sent to tenders@redcross.or.ke  on or before 10th March, 2021 and all responses will be posted on the website by 11th March 2021 for all to view.

And must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Reception on the Ground Floor of the Kenya Red Cross Society Headquarters in South C, Red Cross Road, off Popo Road, Nairobi on or before 11.00 am, Wednesday 17^th March 2021. Late submissions will not be accepted. Technical Proposals will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day in the presence of the bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend the online ZOOM meeting.
