Tender for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Solarization Works for 10. No. Boreholes

KITUI WATER AND SANITATION CO. LTD TENDER 2021 

NATIONAL OPEN TENDER ADVERTISEMENT

The Kitui Water and Sanitation Co. has received financing from the World Bank through the Water Sector Trust Fund under the Conditional Liquidity Support Grant and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the following project.

1. The KITUI WATER AND SANITATION Co Ltd invites sealed tenders for the solarization of 10 no. boreholes.
2. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” July 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
3. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from the Company Website by downloading a complete set of tender document free of charge at www.kitwasco.co.ke. Alternatively, a complete set of documents may be downloaded from the Government tenders portal at; www.tenders.go.ke.
4. Applicants, who download the tender document, shall email to us their company name, email and contact details for communication in case of need for addendum.
5. Prices quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, must be in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of tender.
6. Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes dearly marked with the Tender name and reference number and deposited in the Tender Box placed at the Manyenyoni Offices,

So as to be received on or not later than Thursday 3^rd June, 2021 at 11:00 am.

7. Pre – tender site visit will NOT be Mandatory and is scheduled to be held consecutively on Monday 24^th and Tuesday 25^th May 2021 at the Manyenyoni offices, starting with a meeting at 9.00am, then proceed to the borehole sites at 10.00 am to 3.00pm daily for those who wish to visit the sites.
8. After the deadline for the dosing of tenders, thereafter tenders shall be opened immediately at the KITWASCO Offices located at Manyenyoni, in the presence of the candidates or their representatives who choose to attend at: Kitui Water and Sanitation Co. Ltd, Manyenyoni, off Mbusyani Road, Kitui Town.
