| REGISTRATION/PRE-QUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS, CONSULTANTS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR FINANCIAL YEARS 2021-2023 |
Water Sector Trust Fund (WaterFund) is the Kenyan State Corporation under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation with the mandate of providing conditional and unconditional grants to the Counties and to assist in financing the development and management of water and sanitation services in the rural and urban marginalised and underserved areas as per Water Act 2016.
To enhance the capacity of the WaterFund in carrying out its mandate, we are in the process of pre-qualifying suppliers for provision of various goods, works and consultancies for the period 2021/22 and 2022/23 Financial Years. Currently prequalified service providers who wish to be retained in the register should apply and submit up-to-date information as requested in the registration / prequalification document.
Interested suppliers and service providers are directed to download pre-qualification details and tender document free of charge from WaterFund Tenders’ portal http://waterfund.go.ke/downloads/tenders or from IFMIS tender portal.
Completed pre-qualification documents should be submitted in plain, sealed envelopes clearly indicating the Tender Number and Category description (Separate document per Category) being applied for and deposited in the Tender Box marked “REGISTRATION/PRE-QUALIFICATION ONLY” located at WaterFund reception on or before 8th June 2021 at 10.00AM and be addressed to:

Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend while observing Ministry of Health prescribed COVID-19 protocols. Late submissions shall not be accepted.
LARGE TENDERS THAT CANNOT FIT IN THE TENDER BOX SHALL BE REGISTERED AT WATERFUND RECEPTION.
WaterFund reserves the right to accept or reject any application in part or in whole and is not bound to give reasons for its decision.
Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities (preference categories) service providers registered with the National Treasury are encouraged to continue registering and those already prequalified in the Reserved categories with us don’t need to re-apply.
The list of the successful bidders will be posted in our website by 28th June, 2021.
