ANNUAL CONTRACTORS CONFERENCE: BOMAS OF KENYA

The National Construction Authority is a State Corporation established by the
National Construction Authority Act No. 41 of 2011 with the overall mandate to
oversee the construction industry and coordinate its development. The
Authority’s mission to regulate, streamline and build capacity in the construction
industry for sustainable social-economic development underscores the need to
provide training and capacity-building programs to contractors, skilled construction
workers and site supervisors in the construction industry.
The Annual Contractors’ Conference is a cornerstone activity in contractors’ training
and capacity building, and the culmination of various continuous professional
development (CPD) events. The events range from the virtual and physical,
specialized and general, small and medium enterprise, foreign and local, youth and
women trainings conducted in the financial year 2022/2023 reaching a wide range of
stakeholders from contractors, site supervisors and construction workers.
Feedback, networking, and peer review will be part of the conference, which is key
to the success of any business, particularly the contracting business. In this
connection, all local and foreign contractors are hereby notified that a one-day Annual
Contractors’ Conference whose theme is “Capacity Building for a Sustainable,
Innovative and Resilient Construction Industry” will be held on the 29th of June 2023
at the BOMAS of Kenya from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The seminar attracts 10 CPD points. A
registration fee of Kes.10,000 is applicable via the contractors’ portal on
www.nca.go.ke.
