EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

BULK FUEL CARRYING VEHICLE [BFCV] PARK WORKS IN THE MECHANICAL TRANSPORT FUEL INSTALLATION, NYATI BARRACKS

The UK MOD hereby invites Tenderers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI] in receiving an Invitation to Tender (ITT] for construction works to the BFCV park in MTFI, Nyati barracks. The Authority requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the works in accordance with the Defence fuel policy, organisation, and safety regulations (JSP 317], BS 7671:2018 – Requirements for Electrical Installations & City & Guilds 2391.

The Estimated Contract Value is between E100K – E300K.

Expression of Interest [EOI]

Expressions of Interest should be submitted formally by e-mail to the Works Contract Officer (WCO] at ajibola.Iaopun307@mod.gov.uk  by 1000hrs, 3 May 23. In addition, all interested parties are to register on the Defence.

A Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire (PQQ] will be issued and used to down select the number of potential tenderers to 5. The potential tenderers will be required to meet a minimum score specified in the PQQ.

Tender Issue and Bidders Conference

Selected tenderers will be issued with ITT documentation on 26 May 23 and will be invited to attend a Bidder’s Conference between 30 May 23 (1000 Hrs] at Nyati Barracks. This is the sole opportunity for tenderers to visit the site. The conference is limited to a maximum of 2 personnel from each company.

Evaluation Criteria

The evaluation criteria for determining the Commercial Solution will be Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT] using the Value for Money Index (VFM Index],

Potential Bidders will be required to meet the minimum technical and commercial requirements as stated in the ITT.
