The Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Water & Sanitation and irrigation (MoWSI) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of Water and Sanitation Development Project (WSDP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Construction of a Storage warehouse for pipes, fittings and portable equipment and construction office block at Voi town

TAVEVO Water and Sewerage Company Limited, a Water Service Provider licensed by Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) and fully owned by the County Government of Taita-Taveta now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to undertake the works. The works include:

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods. Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers Dated January 2011 and Revised in July. 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from at the address given below and inspect the bidding documents during office hours (0800hrs to 1300hrs & 1400hrs to 1700hrs) except on public , holidays.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 at 1100hrs Local Time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 at 1100hrs.

All Bids shall be valid until Wednesday, 15th September, 2021 (120 days) from the date of bid submission and shall be accompanied by a Bid security of amount Kshs. 800,000.00 (Kenya Shillings Eight Hundred Thousand Only) which shall remain valid for a further 28 days beyond the bid validity period (Wednesday, 13th October, 2021).
