Construction of Kinamba Water Project Phase 1 in Laikipia County – NYAHUWASCO 2021

NYAHURURU WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY TENDER SEPTEMBER 2021 

Nyahururu Water and Sanitation Company has received funds from the County Government of Laikipia for development of wa­ter projects and intend to use the funds to undertake the following project at Kinamba Town which is in Laikipia West sub-county. The Company (NYAHUWASCO) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible firms to construct Kinamba Water Project Phase 1

1. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours from 8:00a.m to 5:00p.m at the address given below.
2. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of non- refundable fees of Ksh.1,000. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Company’s website www.nyahuwasco.co.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
3. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website wrww.nyahuwasco.co.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to this email, info@nyahuwasco.co.ke. Tel-0652032753,0728346312 on week days to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
4. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include ail taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 119 days from the date of opening of tenders.
5. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Ksh.910,000 from a reputable financial institution.
6. Completed tenders documents in a plain sealed envelope bearing no indication of the tenderer but clearly marked with the “Tender Reference No. NYAHUWASC0/CGL-KWPP1/0T/010/2021-2022 for Construction of Kinamba Water Project Phase 1” must be delivered to the address below on or before Thursday, 14^th October, 2021 at 10:30a.m. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
7. The tenderer must prepare one original document and clearly mark it “ORIGINAL” and two copies of the tender document and clearly mark it “COPY” and submit them to the address below. The tenderer must chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Company’s Boardroom in the presence of the interested tenderers or their representatives who chose to attend. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
