CONSTRUCTION OF MASEWANI DRAINAGE IN KANG’UNDO/TALA MUNICIPALITY KUSP FY 2022/2023 – GMC

COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF MACHAKOS TENDER JUNE 2023 

DEPARTMENT OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT

The County Government of Machakos, Department of Urban Development, Municipalities under Kenya Urban Support Programme [KUSP] wishes to invite sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers/Contractors for the following tenders.

Tender documents containing detailed Information on tenders can freely be downloaded from the County website www.machakos.go.ke . or PPI Portal www.tenders.go.ke . Complete tender documents must be submitted through the IFMIS SUPPLER PORTAL supplier.treasury.go.ke as per requirements contained in the documents so as to be received on or before the date and time indicated in the IFMIS Portal.

All documents must be serialized sequentially.

Submission of original bid security must be delivered at the Office of Supply Chain Management at the department of energy, lands, housing and urban development to be received on or before 12th June, 2023 during working hours. Prices quoted must remain valid for hundred and twenty (120) days from the opening date. The bid security must be valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days from the opening date. MANUAL SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All tenders must be submitted through the IFMIS PORTAL.

Bidders who may experience challenges in accessing and uploading their tenders in the IFMIS tender portal should contact the IFMIS helpdesk tel.0800721477 or 020480180 at the National Treasury.

Note:

All submitted documents may be verified from issuing agencies, Department of Urban Development reserves the right to verify all submitted documents.

Pre-bid site visit by all bidders for tender number GMC/KUSP/MKS MUN/01/2022-20223 will be on 6^th June, 2023 starting at 11.00 am at Machakos Municipality Office in the Ministry of Energy, Lands, housing and Urban Development.

Pre-bid site visit by all bidders for tender number GMC/KUSP/KDOTL MUN/01/2022-2023 will be on 7^th June, 2023 starting at 11.00 am at Kangundo/Tala Municipality Offices

Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification.

The criteria for evaluation of bids

The criteria shall be as described in the tender documents.

Prices quoted should include all taxes and must be expressed in Kenya Shillings.

Complete tender documents MUST be submitted online so as to be received on or before 12th June, 2023 and time indicated in IFMIS Portal. The system will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing as indicated in the IFMIS Portal.
