INVITATION TO TENDER
CONSTRUCTION OF NTHARAWE-KARAMBARI THURA FOOT BRIDGE 
NEGOTIATION NO: 1492002 – 2023/2024
The Embu County Government invites sealed tenders for CONSTRUCTION OF NTHARAWE-KARAMBARI
THURA FOOT BRIDGE
Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
1. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information and inspect Tender documents at the
office of the Director of Supply Chain Management Office, during normal working hours.
2. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates free of charge at our
website: www.embu.go.ke, www.tenders.go.ke or from the Suppliers portal:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke. To facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
3. All Tenders must be accompanied by a “Tender Security” of [Ksh.200, 000.]
4. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialise in all pages of the tender documents submitted.
5. Eligible tenderers are required to STRICTLY respond through E-procurement suppliers’ portal:
www.supplier.treasury.go.ke and submit the original completed tender document (same as the one submitted
online) enclosed in a plain sealed envelope marked with Tender name and Negotiation number and deposited in
the Tender Box at the reception in the County Headquarters offices on or before 30TH MAY 2024 at 11.30 am
In case of inconsistence between bid document (hardcopy) submitted manually and bid document
submitted through the IFMIS System the tender will be disqualified.
6. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at a location as will be designated.
7. Late tenders will be rejected
8. This Project is funded by the Embu County Government County Revenue Fund FY 2023/2024
