CONSTRUCTION OF NYABOMITE BOMBO BOKIMORI IRRIGATION PROJECT (EAKA) IN NYAMIRA COUNTY
INVITATION TO TENDER NOTICE
The County Government of Nyamira has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Agricultural and Rural Inclusive Growth Project (NARIGP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for the construction and expansion of NYABOMITE BOMBO BOKIMORI IRRIGATION PROJECT (EAKA). Therefore, the County Government of Nyamira, through the department of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries now invites eligible bidders for the tender as shown below:-

Interested bidders may freely download the tender document from the County Government of Nyamira website: www.nyamira.go.ke or from the Public Procurement Information Portal: www.tenders.go.ke. Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the County Project Coordinator, County Project Coordinating Unit P.O. Box 434 – 40500 NYAMIRA

Completed tender documents in PDF format and clearly marked ‘Construction of NYABOMITE BOMBO BOKIMORI IRRIGATION PROJECT (EAKA) in NYAMIRA County, Tender No. CGN/NRG/T008/2021 – 2022 and SHALL BE UPLOADED TO THE NATIONAL TREASURY IFMIS PORTAL and should be received on or before TUESDAY 16th AUGUST, 2022 at 10.30 am local time and MUST be accompanied by a bid guarantee as indicated in this tender document.
Bids will be opened electronically in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 10.30 am on TUESDAY 16th AUGUST, 2022 at OLD KCB HALL, Ground Floor, County Government of Nyamira Headquarters in compliance with WHO/Kenya Government Covid-19 Guidelines, rules and regulations.
Mandatory pre-tender site visit shall be held on WEDNESDAY 3rd AUGUST, 2022 at 9.00 am starting from SUB-COUNTY AGRICULTURAL OFFICE, NYAMIRA NORTH SUB-COUNTY HEADQUARTERS, EKERENYO. Bidders are advised to make their own Transport arrangements to and from the site.
The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the World Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Works.
Bidders are advised to visit the County Government of Nyamira website www.nyamira.go.ke from time to time during the bid submission period for any addendum on any clarifications, amendments or extension of tender closing date. Price quoted should be inclusive of all applicable taxes and valid for One Hundred and Twenty (120) calendar days after tender opening.
