Project Background

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries Cooperatives, State Department for Crop Development and Agricultural Research intends to construct various markets through National Government funded project initiated in 2019/2020 financial year. The above proposed development projects are to be implemented in the 2021/2022 financial year and are part of the Ministry commitment to provide market facilities to its citizens.

1. PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION WORKS AT KENYA SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE (KSA) UGENYA CAMPUS OF-
2.         PHASE II – FIRST FLOOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS INCLUDING OFFICES & TRAINING ROOMS, ROOFING, AND FINAL FINISHING
3.         A DINING HALL AND KITCHEN

                    iii.        FENCE AND STUDENTS ABLUTION BLOCK

Project Background

Kenya School of Agriculture – Ugenya Campus is a National Government funded project initiated in 2019/2020 financial year. The above proposed development projects are to be implemented in the 2021/2022 financial year and are meant to make the campus operational.

1. Requirements and Scope

The Ministry invites interested and eligible bidders for the works scheduled under section 3 below. The minimum eligibility requirements are as follows;

1. a)Certified copies of Tax Compliance, VAT and PIN certificates
2. b)CR 12
3. c)Certified copy of certificate of incorporation or proof of legal existence
4. d)Bid security of 2% of the entire bid price in form of bank guarantee from a bank or insurance company
5. e)Registration with the National Construction Authority under class 6 and above (For construction works)
6. f)Duly serialized tender document in the form x of y
7. g)Audited accounts for the last three (3) years
8. h)Further details will be obtained in the tender document.

Interested bidders may download the bid documents from the Ministry’s website www.kilimo.go.ke free of charge.

4. Submission of Bids

Completed tender documents enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the tender name and number MUST be deposited in the tender box at KILIMO HOUSE as the address below or to be posted so as to be received on or before 27^th October 2021 before 11.00 AM.
