TANA WATER WORKS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY TENDER 2021 

1.             Tana Water Works Development Agency (TWWDA), a Public Institution under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation invites applications for the tenders described below from interested and eligible bidders for the following Works:

8.             Eligible bidders may obtain hard copies of the tender documents from TWWDA’s Procurement Office during normal working hours {Monday to Friday (8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.) upon payment of a Non Refundable fee of Kshs.1000/-, Payable either through Account Name: TWWDA, Account No.1101998733 or Mpesa Paybill No 221599, Account No: Name of the Company bidding.

      iii.            A summarized part of tender document, having been filled and attached with all the required documents (as re­quired) shall be submitted by all interested bidders. Volumes I to VII as explained in the form of Agreement shall be uploaded on TWWDA website for reference ONLY but the contents thereto shall be binding; hard-copies of contents in the volumes need not be attached to the final TENDER DOCUMENT at the time of submission unless where any copy is necessary.

1.             Soft copies of a complete set of the tender documents containing all the requirements may be forwarded to any interested bidders’ official email inbox free of charge upon formal request in writing.
2.             Relevant documents can also be downloaded from the TWWDA website www.tanawwda.or.ke or from the Public Procurement Information portal (PPIP): www.tenders.go.ke free of charge. Those who download the documents and intend to submit them are required to give their official business contacts to Tana Water Works Development Agency via email for purposes of receiving further clarifications/or addenda if need arises.
3.             There will be MANDATORY Pre-tender site visits as indicated above and as described in each of the tender documents (Tender Data Sheet).

   vii.            Applications for tenders must be submitted enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender name and reference number and deposited in the tender box located on the ground floor,

  viii.            Candidates who wish to attend and witness the receiving and subsequent opening of the bids (after 7 days) are hereby requested to make formal application. Only ten (10) representatives from the interested bidders shall witness the receiving and sealing of the documents.

1.             The Bids upon receipt SHALL be sealed in the presence of the interested bidders, sanitized and quarantined for sev­en (7) days to be opened on Thursday 25th February 2021 in the presence of the interested bidders who witnessed the sealing.
2.             Any bid/s received after the deadline will be rejected.
