CONSULTANCY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF WATER SAFETY PLAN FOR KIBWEZI MAKINDU WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY LIMITED (KIBMAWASCO)
The Millennium Water Alliance (MWA), in partnership with Kibwezi Makindu Water and Sanitation Company Limited (KIBMAWASCO), is seeking to engage a qualified consultant or consultancy firm for the development of a Water Safety Plan (WSP) aimed at enhancing water quality and resilience in Kibwezi, Makindu, and surrounding areas in Makueni County.
Scope of Work:
The consultancy will involve supporting the development of a comprehensive WSP for KIBMAWASCO, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and the formulation of control measures for safe water delivery from source to consumer. The WSP must comply with the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) guidelines and WHO standards for water safety.
Key Deliverables:
- Inception report outlining methodology
- Draft Water Safety Plan for stakeholder review
- Stakeholder validation workshop
- Final Water Safety Plan incorporating feedback
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Water Engineering, Water Resources Management, Public Health, or related fields
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in water safety planning
- Proven experience in leading WSP development
