CONSULTANCY OPPORTUNITY: MMC QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH ON MIXED MOVEMENTS ALONG THE SOUTHERN ROUTE
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct quantitative research on mixed migration along the Southern Route, covering Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. The project aims to gather essential data on the migration routes, risks, and conditions faced by refugees and migrants in these regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain data collection authorizations in five countries.
- Recruit and train enumerators for data collection.
- Conduct 5000 valid surveys with refugees and migrants.
- Collaborate with MMC to ensure adherence to data quality standards.
Requirements:
- Expertise in migration studies, quantitative research methods, and working experience in Southern Africa.
- Minimum five years of experience in data collection and research management.
