REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
Water Sector Trust Fund (WaterFund) is a State Corporation in the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation and established
under the Water Act, 2016, Section 113, with the mandate to provide conditional and unconditional grants to the
Counties and to assist in financing the development of and management of water and sanitation services in the marginalised
and underserved areas.
WaterFund has received financial support from the European Union to support the implementation of the Ending Drought
Emergencies: Climate Proofed Infrastructure Programme (EDE-CPIRA) programme which is being implemented in
eight selected counties: Kilifi, Taita Taveta, Kitui, Kajiado, Samburu, Baringo, West Pokot and Mandera.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
WaterFund now invites proposals for Conducting Surveys and Development of Designs for medium sized climate proofed
Water Supply Projects under EDE-CPIRA Programme in the 3rd Call projects. Consultants shall submit proposals for up
to a maximum of two (2) projects from the following consultancy categories:

SUBMISSION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Request for Proposal must be submitted in writing in one original (1) and two (2) copies to the address below and
in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked “Request for Proposal: Consultancy Services for Conducting Surveys and
Development of Designs for …………………… Ref. No ……………….in ………… County. (The applicant MUST indicate
the Project name, corresponding Reference Number and County applied for and)” Ref No. WSTF/EU/
RFP/../ 2022-2023
The Request for Proposal should be addressed to:

17th May 2023, at 10.00 AM. Technical Proposals will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the
applicants or their representatives who choose to attend.
