INVITATION TO TENDER 

The board of Nyati Sacco Society invites sealed bids from interested and eligible firms for the following tender:

1 NY/ARCH/2021 The Firm will coordinate and have overall responsibility for the quality, work and performance of the main contractor and all specialist sub-consultants and for the effective integration of all project outputs.

The scope of services will involve all of the following activities listed below, but not limited to:

         I.            Architectural Design.

        II.            Structural/Civil Engineering.

      III.            Quantity Surveying and Cost Management.

     IV.            Mechanical Engineering

      V.            Electrical Engineering.

     VI.            Sewerage and plumbing.

   VII.            Fire Detection and Alarm System

  VIII.            Other specialized services including Solar Energy Data and CCTV System

      IX.            Infrastructure, and Project Management services

Basic requirements [Mandatory submissions)

  1.             A copy of a valid certificate of Business Registration.
  2.             A copy of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate.

      III.            Curriculum Vitae [CV’s) of the proposed key staff dully signed by the proposed individuals.

  1.             Certified copy of current Tax Compliance Certificate for all consultants.
  2.             Certified copies of certificates and testimonials of the proposed key staff
  3.             Proof of registration with the relevant Accreditation Boards and professional bodies for the specified consultants i.e. BORAQs and AAK

   VII.            Letter of recommendation from past clients [particularly experience of works undertaken for office buildings}.

 VIII.            Professional indemnity of A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF Kshs.20,000,000.00 [Read: Kenya Shillings Twenty Million) for the Lead Consultant, Ksh.10,000,000.00 [Read: Kenya Shillings Ten Million) for quantity Surveyors, Structural/ Civil Engineer, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer and Kshs. 2,000,000.00 [Read: Kenya Shillings Two Million) for NEMA Expert and Land Surveyor.

  1.             Evidence of projects worth over ksh.500.000,000.00[Read: Kenya shillings Five Hundred Million) spread over the last 10 years within Nairobi [At least 3 of the projects must be for office developments).
  2.             Must have a minimum of [10) years’ experience in management and supervision of high-rise office developments in Nairobi.

Submission

Tender documents with detailed terms and conditions of application shall be obtained from our offices: Nyati Sacco Ltd, Odyssey Plaza, South B, 2nd Floor upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000/= in cash or bankers cheque payable to Nyati Sacco Limited. Completed Tender documents in plain sealed envelopes indicating Tender number and description of the Tender as described in the tender document should be deposited in the tender box located at the banking hall Nyati Sacco Society offices addressed to
