CONSULTANCY TO DEVELOP A FRAMEWORK FOR WOMEN IN CLEAN COOKING- KENYA
The GCF Project via its component on creating an enabling environment for the growth of the cooking sector in Kenya in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum [MoEP], has been providing support to the Women in Clean Cooking Kenya [WICC-K] Initiative with an aim of enhancing women’s participation in the sector. The initiative focuses on attaining gender parity in the cooking sector by enhancing women’s business acumen, leadership, and overall engagement in growing the sector. The framework is expected to provide a technical, administrative and operational structure and guidelines necessary to achieve the WICC-K mission of empowering women in Kenya’s clean cooking sector, for sustainability and improved health outcomes.
In this regard, GIZ under the auspices of the GCF project invites interested individual consultants to submit their bids to develop a Framework for Women in Clean Cooking- Kenya [WICC-K].
The interested individual consultant must meet the following qualifications:
- i)Minimum of degree in law, economics, business, development studies or social sciences
- ii)At least 5 years’ experience in strategic plan development
iii) Experience organization capacity development
- iv)Demonstrate leadership experience
- v)Experience in clean cooking sector

Deadline for Submission 12.16.2024 @ 0000hrs (East African Time)
Partial or incomplete bids will be considered as non-responsive. Failure to address correctly on email subject will lead to automatic disqualification.
Bidders are not allowed to contact or discuss any aspect of the tender with GIZ before closing of the tender as this will lead to automatic disqualification.
