INVITATION TO TENDER 
PROVISION OF AUCTIONEERING SERVICES – DISPOSAL OF ASSETS (UNSERVICEABLE, OBSOLETE AND SURPLUS STORES) 

Invitation to tender (ITT) No: MWSI/RFP/002/2022-2023 

1. The Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation invites sealed tenders for the
provision of services, i.e. Provision of Auctioneering Services for Disposal of
Assets (Unserviceable, Obsolete and Surplus Stores)
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive
method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering isopen to all qualified and interested Auctioneers
Contract framework of 2years

3. . Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further
information and inspect the Tender Documents during office
hours [0800 to 1700hours] at the address given below.

4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or
obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a nonrefundable fees of Kshs. 1,000.00 (Kenya shillings One
Thousand Only) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to
the address given below.
5. Tenderers are advised to register with the head of supply
chain management services office on 3rd floor room 322 or
forward their particulars immediately in order to facilitate
any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security

(Value Kshs. 50,000.00) valid for 150 days from the date of
tender opening in the form of either Unconditional Bank
Guarantee from a reputable bank in Kenya or an insurance
company registered, licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority
currently listed by the PPRA or a guarantee issued by a financial
institution approved and licenses by the Central Bank of
Kenya.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents
submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be deposited in the tender box
situated at Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation
Headquarters, Upper Hill Ground Floor or delivered to the
address below on or before 18TH October, 2022 at 10:00 am.
Electronic Tenders will not be permitted
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline
date and a t t h e time specified. Tenders will be publicly
opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the Ministry of
Water, Sanitation and Irrigation Headquarters, Upper Hill 4th
Floor, room 449.
10. Late tenders will be rejected
