DESIGN, FINANCE AND BUILD A SOLAR PV PLANT FOR NYAHURURU WATER AND SANITATION COMPANY

In order to enhance sustainable and affordable water supply, Nyahururu Water and Sanitation Company [NYAHUWASCO) is planning to solarize its water intake and treatment facility and hereby invites Expression of Interest from eligible firms who are able to demonstrate both technical and financial capability for the Financing, Design and Construction of the Solar Photovoltaic Plant,

The interested parties should demonstrate ability to:

1. Finance, design, build and operationalize the Solar PV system through safe and best construction engineering practices.
2. Provide and propose suitable financing structures to realize the project to completion.
3. Demonstrate financial capability to finance the project up to commissioning stage [full financial guarantee will be provided).
4. Be responsible for any permitting requirements pertaining to implementation of the project

General Information and Notice:

1. Any information provided by the bidding party will form the basis of any contract that may be entered into between NYAHUWASCO and the bidder pertaining to this REOI.
2. NYAHUWASCO shall not be liable for or be required to pay any costs, expenses or losses that may be incurred by the bidding party in the preparation of their REOI.
3. NYAHUWASCO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reasons thereof.

Expression of Interest [REOI] clearly marked with the Ref No: NYAHUWASCO/REOI/ FSP/011/2021-2022 and clearly marked Finance, design and build of a solar PV plant for Nyahururu Water and Sanitation Company and no other markings, should be addressed to the; Managing Director, Nyahururu Water and Sanitation Company Ltd, P.O.BOX 952-20300, Nyahururu, Kenya.

Request for Expression of Interest documents made in English must be placed inside the Tender Box at the company’s main office, along Kenyatta Road next to Cooperative Bank of Kenya at the reception area, Administration Block, on or before 14^th October, 2021 at 10:30a.m. E-mail: info@nyahuwasco.co.ke

Opening will be done on the same day thereafter in presence of tenderers or their representatives who chose to attend. All bidders must comply with MOH preventive measures and regulations by PPRA on COVID-19.
