INVITATION TO TENDER
DISPOSAL OF INSTITUTE MOTOR VEHICLES
TENDER NO: KISE/DISP/01/2022-2023
1. The Kenya Institute of Special Education invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates to purchase the
following two vehicles:
a) KBN-008E Toyota/Land Cruiser
b) KBU-342T Toyota/Corolla
2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information at the address provided below. The motor
vehicles will be sold as they are, without any encumbrances.
3. Interested tenderers may view the vehicles to be sold during office hours from 8am-5pm at the address
given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of nonrefundable fees of Kshs.1,000 in cash or banker’s cheque payable through KISE pay bill no 851201 using
the company name as the account number and free if downloaded from the website
www.kise.ac.ke/downloads or www.tenders.go.ke .
5. Tenderers will be required to pay in advance a refundable deposit as indicated in the Appendix to
Instructions to tenderers.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 11.00 am on Wednesday 21st
September 2022. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
7. Prices quoted should be net, must be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for the period to be
determined by the Procuring Entity from the closing date of the tender.
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date
and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
