DISPOSAL OF MOTOR VEHICLE & OTHER ASSORTED ITEMS

INVITATION TO TENDER (ITT) No.EWASCO/DISP/001/2023-2024

1. Embu Water and Sanitation Company Ltd now invites sealed tenders from eligible
candidates to purchase vehicles, Motor Cycles, old vehicle Tyres, and scrap metals as included in
Section 2 (Schedule of items and Prices).
2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information at the address provided below.
The items will be sold as they are, without any encumbrances.
3. Interested tenderers may inspect the unserviceable Motor Vehicles to be sold during office
hours “AS WHERE IT IS AND THE CONDITION IT IS IN” [Starting from Tuesday, 4th June
2024 to Friday, 7th June 2024 between 10.00 am – 2.00pmDaily)
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ksh. 1,000.00. Payment should be made to the
Finance Office at Embu Water and Sanitation Company in cash or Banker’s Cheque and
payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for
free from the website www.embuwater.co.ke or www.tenders.go.ke Tenderers who
download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to
procurement@embuwater.co.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum. Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tenderers will be required to pay in advance a fundable deposit as indicated in the Appendix
to Instructions to Tenderers.
6. Completed tenders must be delivered in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked on top with
the Tender Reference and Description should be deposited in the Tender Box at the entrance
of the Embu Water and Sanitation Company head office entrance.

7. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
8. Prices quoted should be net, must be in Kenya Shillings, and shall remain valid for the period
to be determined by the Procuring Entity from the closing date of the tender.

9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any
deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the
Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
