INVITATION TO TENDER 
DISPOSAL OF OLD TYRES AND SCRAP METAL 

TENDER NO. KMA/ONT/02/2023-2024  
1. The KMA invites sealed tenders from eligible tenderers to purchase Old Tyres and Scrap Metal.
2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information at the address provided below. Items will be
sold as they are, without any encumbrances.
3. Interested tenderers may inspect the goods to be sold during office hours [ i.e. 0900 to 1500 hours] at the
address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of (Kenya shillings1,000.00) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given
below. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website (www.kma.go.ke) and/ or
Public Procurement Information Portal (https://www.tenders.go.ke). Tenderers who download the tender
document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@kma.go.ke and/or info@kma.go.ke to
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
5. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 29th August, 2023 at 10.00a.m.
Electronic tenders will not be permitted
6. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected without opening.
10. The Procuring Entity reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without giving reason.
