INVITATION TO TENDER
DRILLING, DEVELOPMENT, TEST PUMPING OF BOREHOLE AND SOLAR INSTALLATION AT
SPEAKER’S RESIDENCE, TESO SOUTH SUB-COUNTY ANG’OROM WARD
TENDER (ITT) NO. BSA/CA/04/2022/2023
1. The County Assembly of Busia Service Board invites sealed tenders for Drilling, Development, Test
Pumping of Borehole and Solar Installation at Speaker’s Residence for a period of 126 days at the Teso South
Sub-County Ang’orom Ward, Busia County.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method National using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 0800 to 1700 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a
non- refundable fee of Kshs 1,000 in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
documents may be obtained electronically from the Website(s) www.busiaassembly.go.ke . Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the County Assembly website
www.busiaassembly.go.ke or the National Treasury IFMIS Portal www.supplier.treasury.go.ke or the
Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP) www.tenders.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender
document must forward their particulars immediately to the Office of the Clerk or Procurement Office,
P.O Box 1018-50400, Busia-K. Email: clerkbusiacountyassembly@yahoo.com . Tel: +254 721 675 217 to
facilitate anyfurther clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of Kshs 100,000 or a Bid Bond of similar amounts
from a Bank or an Insurance company approved by PPRA The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all
pages of the tender documents submittedThe Tenderer shall chronologically serialise all pages of the tender
documents submitted.
7. Completed tenders must be delivered ELECTRONICALLY on the IFMIS SUPPLIER PORTAL in PDF
Format and after a successful ONLINE SUBMISSION, a hard copy of the same is to be enclosed in a plain
sealed envelope marked with tender reference number and addressed to the address below on or before: 16th
September, 2022 at 10:00am
8. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
