The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company limited (KETRACO) is a state corporation whose mandate is to plan, design, construct, operate, own and maintain high voltage electricity transmission lines and substations. KETRACO has completed and commissioned 2,411km of transmission / fiber lines and 32 substations.
To this end, KETRACO is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified Company or consortium of companies to Finance, Build, Lease and Operate a carrier neutral Tier IV Data Center in a profit / revenue sharing model.
This Request for Expression of Interest with detailed requirements shall be published on the KETRACO website (www.ketraco.co.ke/tenders/open-tenders) beginning Tuesday 25th May 2021.
Only prequalified firms will be invited to submit their Request for Proposal (RFP).
Complete tender documents must be electronically submitted through SAP ARIBA platform not later than Tuesday 6th July 2021 at 10.00am East Africa Time.
