EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
EU/EOI/03/2023-2024 – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF REAL ESTATE AGENT
1. Background
Egerton University Retirement Benefits Scheme is a segregated Defined Contribution
Scheme established under the Retirement Benefits Act, 1997 and is duly registered
with the Authority. The Scheme has a total membership of about 2900 with a fund
value of approximately net assets of Kes. 12.5b as at 30th June, 2021.
EURBS is seeking the to register and shortlist Real Estate Agent to facilitate in
management and disposal of scheme land in Mavoko (Machakos county) and Ngorika
(Nakuru County)
Interested bidders are required to submit a complete Company profile with the
following documents that will the evaluation criteria.
2. MANDATORY TENDER REQUIREMENTS
The tenderer must provide the following information and/or copies of the following
documents:
i. PIN/VAT Certificate
ii. Certificate of Incorporation or business registration certificate
iii. Attaché Certified Cr 12 (Certified by Attorney or Commissioner of Oath)
iv. Registration and valid license by the professional body
v. Valid Tax Compliance certificate (Current Certificates)
vi. Letters of reference from four (4) major clients for whom similar assignments
have been undertaken for the last 10 years;
vii. Audited accounts for the last three years
viii. List and contact details of the organization for which similar consultancies have
been undertaken over the three (3) years;
ix. Valid business license
x. Dully filled signed and stamped Tenderer’s Eligibility-Confidential Business

Questionnaire
xi. Dully filled signed and stamped Certificate of Independent Tender Determination
xii. Dully filled signed and stamped Self-Declaration Forms (Form SD1, SD2 and
Declaration and Commitment to The Code of Ethics).
NB: Bids that do not contain all the above mandatory requirements will be declared
non responsive and shall not be evaluated further.
3. CLARIFICATIONS
The Scheme shall promptly respond to all request for any clarification relating to expression
of interest where such request is received before the deadline for submission. Any
request for clarification must be sent in writing by electronic mailed to:

4. SUBMISSION
Completed EOI proposal shall be submitted in ONE (1) “ORIGINAL hard copy and in Flash
Disk saved in PDF format clearly labelled your company name and placed in separate sealed
envelopes the two envelopes shall be placed in an outer envelope and sealed bear The Scheme
address, EOI name and number and clearly marked “DO NOT OPEN before day, date and time of EOI
closing/Opening date.

On or before: MONDAY 27TH November, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The EOI shall be opened
immediately after tender closing day and time and in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who
choose to attend.
Only firms shortlisted under this procedure will be invited to submit their Technical and Financial
proposals under the Request for Proposals (RFP).
