IBERAFRICA POWER (E.A) LTD TENDER 2020 

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR DECOMMISSIONED 51.87 MW THERMAL POWER PLANT.

Iberafrica Power (E.A) Limited is in power generation business and has been in operation since 1997. The company has retired one of the two power plants it operates at Nairobi South after the expiry of the Power Purchase Agreement. The decommissioned plant whose specifications are listed below is in good state of operation and maintenance.

The specification of the generator as indicated below:

The company invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from any firm or individuals who may be interested in buying the plant in-whole or part thereof and assorted spare parts. Parties that would like to view the plant can request in writing to the email below, indicating the preferred date and time between 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Parties are requested to submit their EOI by close of Business 15^th December 2020 to email disposal@iberafhca.co.ke which should include:

• Company /Individual name and the firm’s interest in undertaking the project.
• Name, Email and telephone number of contact persons.
• Introduction of the firm/individuals, its primary focus of business, and its key qualifications for the project.
• Compliance statement on Health, Safety and Environmental matters.
• Conveying understanding of the purpose, objectives and final destination of the Plant.
• Identity of associated local partner(s) or experts if any.
• Why the company/individual should be short listed and explicitly stating the interest in being on the short list.
• Estimate time of completion
• Financing arrangements.

Iberafrica Power (EA) Limited Reserves the right to accept or reject any EOI either in whole or in part and is not bound to give reasons for the decision thereof.
