FEASIBILITY STUDY OF THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF THE LAW SOCIETY OF KENYA [LSK] MODERN OFFICE BLOCK 2023 – LSK

LAW SOCIETY OF KENYA TENDER JANUARY 2023 

The Law Society of Kenya [LSK] is Kenya’s Premier Bar Association, with a membership of all advocates, currently numbering over twen­ty thousand members.

It has the mandate to advise and assist members of the legal profession, the government, and the larger pflblic in all matters relating to the administration of justice in Kenya.

The Society is established by an Act of Parliament – The Law Society of Kenya Act no.21 of 2014

The Society invites eligible bidders to submit their tenders for the provision feasibility study of the proposed construction of the Law Society of Kenya [LSK] Modern Multi-Storey Office Block.

1. The tender document with further details may be downloaded from the Society’s website; www.lsk.or.ke, free of charge.
2. Tenderers are advised to forward their particulars to the Procurement office, LSK, via email address procurement@lsk.or.ke before the closing date for records and for purposes of receiving clarifications and or addendums, if any.
3. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and MUST be expressed in Kenya shillings.
4. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender document submitted.
5. A mandatory site visit shall be held on Tuesday, 10th January 2023 at 10.00 AM. Bidders shall converge at the LSK Offices located at Gitanga Road at 9.30 am and thereafter proceed to the South C plot. A certificate of site visit shall be issued to all those in atten­dance and a copy must be submitted with the bid document.
6. A bid bond of Kenya Shilling 1,000,000/= [one million Kenya shillings only] in form of a guarantee from approved institutions shall be required.
7. Duly completed tender documents enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender name and reference number should be addressed to;

and MUST be deposited in the tender box located at the Secretariat’s reception area to be received on or before noon Monday, 16^th January 2023 EAT.

8. Bid documents shall be opened immediately thereafter at the Secretariat’s lawn in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
9. Late bids shall not be accepted.
