INVITATION TO TENDER

FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT OF SUPPLIERS FOR PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES(JOOTRH) FOR A PERIOD OF
TWO (2) YEARS

KSM/JOOTRH/F.A.C/24/23-25

1. The JARAMOGI OGINGA ODINGA TEACHING AND REFERRAL HOSPITAL (JOOTRH), invites sealed
tenders for FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT OF SUPPLIERS FOR PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES(JOOTRH) FOR A PERIOD OF
TWO (2) YEARS on Framework Agreement for a duration of Three Years
(renewable subject to satisfactory performance)
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method (National) from suppliers using
a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
Tenders will be awarded on basis of Framework Agreement
3. The number of Suppliers for the Framework Agreement shall be Seven (7) alternative vendors,
which shall be engaged through call-off agreements.
4. The JARAMOGI OGINGA ODINGA TEACHING AND REFERRAL HOSPITAL (JOOTRH), Department of
Health and Sanitation will apply to call-offs contracts under the Framework Agreement and
engage the firms as required
5. There will be no secondary procurement method or methods the JARAMOGI OGINGA ODINGA
TEACHING AND REFERRAL HOSPITAL (JOOTRH) shall use to select a firm (the call-off process)
6. The Framework Agreement is closed panel, and the constitution shall of the panel shall remain
unchanged during the term of the FA (other than firms being removed from the panel, no
additional or replacement firms may be added.
7. There is no guarantee of being awarded a call-off contract, and no commitment will be made with
regard to possible volume of Goods
8. The JARAMOGI OGINGA ODINGA TEACHING AND REFERRAL HOSPITAL (JOOTRH) shall use
purchase order as a contractual method to secure the call-off contract
9. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during office hours between (8:00a.m-5: 00p.m) at the address given below.

10. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained electronically free of charge from the
(JOOTRH) Website www.jootrh.go.ke and/or www.tenders.go.ke .
11. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to o
facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
12. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
13. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 08th September, 2023 at
11:00am

14. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above. Tenders
will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose
