INVITATION TO TENDER
FRAMEWORK CONTRACT FOR PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION AND CONFERENCE FACILITIES FOR COUNCIL
OF LEGAL EDUCATION FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS
1. The Council of Legal Education invites sealed tenders for the provision of a framework
contract for provision of accommodation and conference facilities in Nairobi, Mombasa,
Kisumu, Eldoret, Naivasha ,Machakos, Nakuru, Nyahururu Kiambu, Kajiado and Nyeri
towns for a period of two (2) years.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method using a standardized tender document.
3. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
4. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours (Monday to Friday) between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm at the address given below.
More details on the Services are provided in PART 2 – Services’ Requirements,
Section V – Description of Services of the Tender Document.
5. A complete set of Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Council of Legal Education
website: www.cle.or.ke OR PPIP website: www.tenders.go.ke. Tender documents obtained electronically
will be free of charge.
6. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to Council of
Legal Education email info@cle.or.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
7. No tender security is required
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date
and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
9. Late tenders will be rejected.
10. Bidders MUST ensure their representatives attending the tender opening have an introduction on the company’s’
letterhead indicating the full name of the representative, their National ID Number and the tender they are to
participate in; which MUST be signed and stamped.
