INVITATION TO TENDER – County Government of Bomet Nov 2020

COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF BOMET TENDER 2020 

The County Government of Bomet invites sealed bids from interested eligible bidders in relevant categories to bid for the following listed Tenders. The Tender documents can be downloaded free of charge from the County Government of Bomet website, www.bomet.go.ke. or suppliers’ portal vide the negotiation numbers attached for each tender

(A) BRIDGES

Procurement of the tenders shall be based on post qualification and the following details must be submitted together with the priced bid. Failure to submit the information will be a reason for disqualification.

1.             Certified copy of certificate of Registration / Incorporation
2.         Certified copy of certificate of registration with the National Construction Authority in Category NCA 8 for Youth, Women and Persons Living with Disabilities and NCA 7 and above for the General Category(OPEN) and LOCAL (Residents of the County) for road works and NCA 5 for Bridges.

      iii.            Certified copy of current contractor’s practicing license of the National Construction Authority in Category NCA 7 and above and NCA 5 for bridges.

1.             Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
2.             Certified copy of Certificate of Registration under the Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) Preferences and Reservations program
3.             Certified Copy of Recent CR12 Form – (12months) from Registrar of Companies

   vii.            Proof of having opened a Bank Account

  viii.            Copies of National Identity Card / Valid Passports of Directors

1.             Certified copy of certificate from the National Council of Persons with Disability (for Persons Living with Disabilities) & PLWD ID/Certificate
2.             Duly filled Confidential Business Questionnaire (CBQ)
3.             Signed tender security & declaration form

    xii.            Valid Business Permit /Trading license from the County Government of Bomet

   xiii.            All pages of the tender document to be paginated

  xiv.            Any other condition as stipulated in the Tender Documents

1. There will be NO GROUP pre-tender site visits due to COVID-19 protocols, however individual bidders to make their own arrangements and visit the advertised roads to assess their condition before bidding and collect Pre-tender site visit certificate from the Department of Roads between 11 *-20* November 2020 for attachment to the bid document.
2. Returned bids shall be subjected to 24hrs grace period after closing date before opening as per MOH guidelines.
3. All bidders are eligible for a maximum of two projects within the financial year.

The Employer will carry out due diligence on OPEN documents submitted. Adequacy of qualifications will be determined through an evaluation procedure as described in the bid documents.

All responses should be done both manually and online attaching requisite documents using IFMIS negotiation nos provided and a copy of a duly completed tender document in plain sealed envelope marked “TENDER” NO……..            for……. ” should be addressed

Or deposited in the tender box situated at the Procurement headquarters on or before Monday 23^rd November 2020 at 10:00 AM and thereafter the documents will be opened on Wednesday 25^th November 2020 in the presence of bidders or representatives who choose to attend.
