MARIARA WATER RESOURCES USERS ASSOCIATION TENDER 2020 

INVITATION TO TENDER

Mariara Water Resources Users Association (WRUA) has received funds from Water Sector Trust Fund (WSTF) a state corporation under Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation to implement civil/water works project at Mariene in Mariara, Meru County. The WRUA hereby invite eligible firms to undertake the following works;

1 MARIARAWRUA/T/CW/Q1 /2020-2021 Construction of Mariene Common Water intake along river Mariara and associated Water works. Pre-tender visit shall be on Friday 04th September 2020, at 1000 hrs meeting at Meru Central Sub County Offices (Gatimbi)

Mandatory Requirements

  1. Copies of original documents defining the constitution or legal status (certificate of incorporation/Registration), place of registration
  2. Bid Security of 2% of the tender sum from a reputable financial institution or inform of a banker’s cheque
  3. Valid Tax compliance certificate,
  4. Dully signed pre tender site visit certificate.
  5. Valid Certificates of registration (civil/water works category) with the relevant statutory bodies (MCA 8 and above).
  6. PIN certificate,
  7. Tender Form duly Completed, Signed and Stamped by the Tenderer in the format provided
  8. Submit a valid current Trading License / Single Business Permit issued by the County Government.
  9. Must submit a dully filled up Confidential Business Questionnaire in format provided
  10. Certified CR 12 certificate.

A complete set of Tendering Document(s) can be obtained up on payment of non- refundable fees of Kshs 1,000 payable to Mariara WRUA (Cooperative bank-Account No. 01134418316300 (Attach original bank slip to the tender document as a proof of the payment).

All Tenderers must return One (1) original One (1) copy properly filled and enclosed in plain envelope marked Tender No. MARIARAWRUA/T/CW/01/2020-2021 envelopes address to;

And be deposited at the WRUA Office on or before 1100 hrs. on 09th September 2020. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend the opening in WRUA Office.

Pre tender site visit shall be at bidders’ own cost.
