The County Government of Kitui, through the Ministry of Water and Irrigation intends to procure a contractor(s) for the below waterworks Projects. Details on the scope of the works shall be indicated in the tender documents.

Interested bidders should note that only those meeting the criteria indicated below as minimum, supported by relevant documents at submission will be considered for further evaluation.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- i)Attach copies of the Company Registration/Incorporation Certificate
- ii)Be Registered with National Construction Authority (NCA) and attach copies of the registration Certificate and Practicing License (Water works) Category NCA 8 and Above
iii) Properly fill, sign and stamp the Form of Tender which is inclusive of the following: –
- Confidential Business Questionnaire.
- Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
- Self-Declaration of the Tenderer.
- Conflict of Interest
- iv)Attach a Current Certified Copy of CR12 Certificate obtained not more than Twelve (12) months from the date of this advert
- v)Attach all the directors certified copies of national identity cards.
- vi)Valid business permit/licenses
vii) Must serialize/ paginate all pages for each bid submitted
viii) Bidders must not share a link in the IFMIS system during the uploading of the bid documents
- ix)Must Submit a copy of a current/valid Tax Compliance Certificate or Exemption certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority.
- x)Tenderers MUST attach signed and stamped site visit certificates (By the designated sub-county water engineer). Site visits will be on Monday 27th January 2025 and Tuesday 28th January 2025. Interested bidders should assemble at respective sub-county water offices by 10.0 AM. Tenderers wishing to visit the site can consult the respective water engineers for arrangements.
NOTE:
Further, bids from the following tenderers shall be treated as NON-RESPONSIVE and therefore subject to Automatic disqualification:
- Bid documents from a tenderer whose Directors/Owners/Shareholders are either Public Servants, State Officers of the County Government of Kitui or their Spouses and or their Children;
- Bid documents from a tenderer who has been served with a default notice on ongoing projects;
- Having been debarred by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA)
