MINISTRY OF TOURISM, WILDLIFE, AND HERITAGE TENDER JULY 2023

INVITATION TO TENDER

Ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Heritage, State Department for Wildlife invites qualified tenderers for supply and
provision of the following Goods and services:

1. The State Department for Wildlife invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for Framework Agreement for
the above tenders
2. The framework agreements will be given to a minimum of Seven (7) firms that will meet the requirements
tabulated in the tender documents.
3. The Framework Agreements will be contracted based on section 114 of the Public Procurement and Asset
Disposal Act 2015 and regulations 101 of Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Regulations of 2020.
4. Interested eligible bidders (proof of registration required) may download a complete set of tender documents
from Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage website: www.tourism.go.ke or Tender portal www.
tenders.go.ke free of charge. Tenderers who download the document should register for notifications on the
tender portal to receive notifications any clarifications or addendum issued for each tender.
5. Prices quoted must be net inclusive of VAT and all Government Taxes, must be in Kenya Shillings, and must
remain valid for one hundred twenty (126) days from the closing date of the tender.
6. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information, enquiries and clarifications from the office of Supply
Chain Management Services, 15th floor NSSF building block A Eastern Wing.
7. Completed tender documents both Original and a Copy are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked
with the tender Name and number and bearing no indication of the tenderer should be deposited in the
Tender Box on 15th floor NSSF building block A, Eastern Wing, Nairobi or addressed to The Principal
Secretary, State Department for Wildlife, P.O. Box 41394-00100. Nairobi so as to be received on or before
1st August, 2023 AT 11.00 A.M.
8. Submitted bids will be opened publicly in the 20th floor Conference room 15th floor NSSF building block
A, Eastern Wing soon after the above stated closing date and time in the presence of the tenderers or their
representatives who choose to attend.
9. Tendering will be conducted under open National Competitive Bidding using a standardized tender document.
10. Each copy of the tender shall be paginated serially, prior to submission.
11. Late bids shall be declared late, rejected, and returned unopened.
12. The Government reserves the right to reject any tender and may annul the tendering process and reject all
tenders at any time prior to contract award without thereby incurring any liability to the affected tenderer or
tenderers.
