KENGEN TENDER NOVEMBER 2021 

Interested firms may obtain further information from the office of the Sup­ply Chain Director, Tel: (254) (020) 3666230, Email: tenders@kengen.co.ke on normal working days beginning on the date of advert. The ten­der documents may be collected upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KShs.1, 000.00 paid in cash or through a banker’s Cheque at any KenGen finance office.

The document can also be viewed and downloaded from the website www.kengen.co.ke and on E-procurement https://eprocurement.kengen.co.ke:50001/irj/portal .

Bidders are advised to refer to the website and on e-procurement regularly for any additional information /clarifications/addenda. Downloaded copies are FREE.

SUBMISSION OF TENDERS:

1. Tender documents must be submitted online through KenGen E-Procurement web portal found on the KenGen website (www.kengen.co.ke )
2. Bidders who are interested in this tender MUST ensure that they are registered in the E-Procurement Portal. Please ensure compliance to the following;

–        For suppliers registering for the first time ensure the “Public Procurement” checkbox is ticked so that the login details are sent to suppliers automatically

–        It is a mandatory requirement that all documents are uploaded to the c-folder of the SRM System through the link “Technical RFxresponse”. No responses/documents shall be attached to the “notes and attachments’ tab as they will not be consid­ered for evaluation.

–        Prices to be entered under item of the RFx shall be similar to be prices in the price schedule.

Note; Those Bidder who have submitted their bids should not click on WITHDRAW but click on EDIT to amend their bid response and make appropriate changes if they desire to do so.

Bidders who require any form of assistance on how to bid via the system are advised to download a manual from the website or may contact eprocurement@kengen.co.ke

The Original Tender Security where applicable in the form and amount specified must be delivered in plain sealed envelope clearly labeled with the tender number and tender description before the closing date to the following address:

Note; The tender security should be dropped in the tender box located on Ground Floor at KenGen, RBS building.

Tender securities that cannot fit in the tender box should be submitted to the Supply Chain Director office located on 9th Floor, KenGen Pension Plaza II before submission deadline.

Tenders will be opened online soon after the closing time in the presence of the candidates’ representatives who choose to attend at KenGen Pension Plaza II, Tender opening room, 6111 floor.
