LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION
Mathari National Teaching & Referral Hospital is a neuron psychiatric teaching and referral hospital.
The hospital is in the process of rebranding. It intends to design a logo whose composition will capture its mandate.
To do this, the hospital is inviting creative Kenyans minds to come up with a suitable hospital logo and hospital colours. The logo design competition is open to all individuals/ firms / companies within Kenya.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
The following are guidelines of engagement for the completion.
1) The design be submitted in:
- a)Black and white in six(6)hard copies on A4 size paper
- b)High resolution colour in six(6) hard copies on A4 size paper
- c)In printable soft copy in PDF of JPEG in a MS windows readable Pendrive.
2) The logo must be clear and distinctly identifiable for effective application on all Hospital materials, instruments, publications, website, and relevant paraphernalia.
3) It’s not necessary to include the name of the hospital, however if need be MNT&RH initials can be used. The desired composition should be more conceptual than literal.
4) It’s recommended that the logo should have the sum of our core mandates captured in an appropriate motto.
5) It’s essential that the entrants identify and apply possible colours for the hospital
6) The submitted logo ought to be accompanied with a brief written description of all applied features , connotation, and such significant inspiration
7) Entrants should provide their full names, postal address, physical address, email, and daytime telephone numbers.
8) The competitors MUST not submit more than three entries per individual/firm
9) The hospital shall reserve the exclusive right to modify the winning logo
10) Any material, graphic software or other items accompanying the submitted design shall belong to, and remain the property of the hospital
11) The participants agree to indemnify the hospital from any losses and threatened losses arising from, in connection with or based on allegations of any third party claim of infringement or misappropriation of any intellectual property rights
12) Our judge’s decision is final and not open to any correspondence or appeal, whatsoever.
REWARD FOR THE DESIGN CHOSEN
The three shortlisted winners will be announced on the hospital website upon completion of the evaluation and identification of winning candidates. The selection winning logo will be awarded in order of merit as follows:
1) First position Kshs. 75,000
2) Second position Kshs. 50,000
3) Third position Kshs. 25,000
In addition to the cash award, position one will also get honorary mention during the opening ceremony.
DELIVERY
The design should be delivered in presentable plain sealed envelopes, clearly market “‘MathariNational Teaching & Referral Hospital Logo Design Competition” on or before 21st March 2022 by 1200hrs to the address below:

And dropped in the tender box at Mathari National Teaching & Referral Hospital located at Muthaiga, Thika Road, Nairobi. The designs will be opened thereafter at the site in the presence of candidates who choose to attend
