| INVITATION TO TENDER |
The Githumu Boys High School invites eligible contractors for a competitive Open Tender for the following projects:
- Labour Contract for proposed construction of 1 No Storeyed Dormitory (Phase One) TENDER NO. GBHS/001/2020.
- Material contract for proposed construction of 1 No Storeyed Dormitory (Phase One) TENDER NO. GBHS/002/2020.
Bidders MUST meet the following mandatory requirements alongside other requirements contained in Tender documents which will be used as evaluation criteria.
Attach a copy of valid tax compliance certificate
Pin Certificate
Attach a copy of registration / incorporation certificate and principal place of business.
Company’s CR12 certificate.
Valid National construction certificate and Annual practicing license of NCA 7 and above.
Experience in works of similar nature and size.
Major items of construction equipment owned /leased/hired
A Bid Bond of 1% of tender sum from established financial institution
A complete set of tender document can be obtained at the school from 19th October 2020.
Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and must be in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for 120 days from the date of closing. Interested bidders may inspect and obtain documents from School Office during normal working hours i.e. 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. upon payment of non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000/=
Complete bids are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, marked with tender number and the name and be deposited in the School Tender Box addressed to:

So as to be received on or before 26th October 2020 at 4.00 p.m. and thereafter Tender opening on 27th October 2020 in the School Boardroom at 9.00 a.m. in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
