INVITATION TO TENDER
MURRAM PAVING OF LAMU ISLAND RING ROAD
TENDER NO. CGL/ONT/MUN/1811778/2024-2025
1. The County Government of Lamu –Lamu Municipality invites sealed tenders for the Murram Paving Of
Lamu Island Ring Road
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method national using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours 0900 to 1500 hours at the address given below.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a nonrefundable fees of Ksh. 1,000.00/= in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender
documents may be obtained electronically from the Websites www.lamu.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke . Tender
documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.lamu.go.ke and
www.tenders.go.ke . Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately
to procurement@lamu.go.ke to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. Tendersshall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes.Tendersshallremain valid for 120 days from
the date of opening of tenders. The amount quoted shall also include 0.03% Public Procurement Capacity
Building Levy Order 2023 (exclusive of all other taxes).
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of KES 180,000.00 valid for 150 days issued by the
insurance firms or local banks approved by PPRA.
8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
9. Completed tenders must be submitted on the IFMIS SYSTEM on or before 11TH April, 2025 at 11:00am.
MANUAL SUBMISSION of Tenders WILL NOT be PERMITTED.
10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and
time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives
who choose to attend at the address below.
11. Late tenders will be rejected. The IFMIS System will automatically lock out at the time and date of
tender closing.
