INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER No: LVSWWDA/T/6/2024-2025;
OGANDE COMPLEX AND KABUNDE WATER SUPPLY PROJECT PHASE II IN HOMA BAY TOWN SUB-COUNTY, HOMA BAY COUNTY
The Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency (LVSWWDA) invites sealed tenders for
Ogande Complex and Kabunde Water Project Phase II in Homa Bay Town sub-county, Homa Bay County.
1. Tendering will be conducted under open tender method (National) using a standardized tender document.
Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.
2. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during
office hours from 9.00am to 5.00pm at the address given below.
Tendering is open to all Firms registered appropriately with the National Construction Authority (NCA)
Class 6 and above under the water works category.
3. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenderers upon payment of a
non- refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 in Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below.
Tender documents may also be obtained electronically from the Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP)
www.tenders. go.ke and the LVSWWDA Website(s) https://www.lvswwda.go.ke/tender/. Tender documents
obtained electronically will be free of charge.
4. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the PPIP www.tenders.go.ke and the
LVSWWDA website https://www.lvswwda.go.ke/tender/. Tenderers who download the tender document must
forward their particulars immediately to procurement@lvswwda.go.ke with a copy to mmayi@lvswwda.go.ke
to facilitate any further clarification or addenda.
5. Tenders shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes. Tenders shall remain valid for 98 days from
the date of opening of tenders.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security” of KSH. 400,000 (Four hundred thousand shillings only)
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the Tender Box in the address below on or before 20th February 2025,
10.00am (Kenya Time). Completed tenders should be submitted in one original and one copy.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and
times specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated
representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
