The United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) is the United Nations frontline agency in the fight against hunger.
In Kenya, as part of its Fumigation and Pest Control activities, UNWFP contracted companies fumigated the following tonnages in the year 2020;
Vessels in Mombasa (2,200 MT), Warehouses in Mombasa (61,000 MT) and Upcountry Warehouses of Dadaab, Kakuma, Lodwar and Hola (13,300 MT).
In addition, contracted companies also, provide Fumigation and Pest Control services to offices and guest houses in select locations within the country.
WFP Kenya seeks to pre-qualify providers of Fumigation and Pest Control Services in Kenya.
WFP invites qualified companies, who are duly registered and authorized in accordance with the prevailing laws in Kenya, to respond to an online pre-qualification questionnaire for consideration for short-listing as potential WFP contractors and subsequent invitations to tender.
Reputable companies engaged in the provision of Fumigation and Pest Control services are encouraged to fill in the online questionnaire provided at the following address: https://tinyurI.com/y3zh4n3x
All responses must be submitted by 1200 hrs on 12 February 2021.
Companies currently short listed and or contracted with WFP Kenya for the provision of Fumigation and Pest Control services are also required to fill the online questionnaire.

Please note this is not an invitation to tender nor does it imply automatic selection to WFP Kenya Shortlist of Logistics Service Providers. No rates/prices or documents are required at this stage, and this invitation does not bind the World Food Programme to issue any tenders or contracts to the companies expressing their interest.
By participating in this survey and the entire process, companies confirm that the information they provide is true and correct and that any willful dishonesty on their part may render refusal of their application and subsequent shortlisting.
For purposes of clarity, no documentation is required at this stage.
WFP does not charge any fee for companies to access its surveys, questionnaires as well as participate in the entire shortlisting process.
