INVITATION TO APPLY FOR PREQUALIFICATION
PRE-QUALIFICATION OF LAW FIRMS FOR PROVISION OF LEGAL SERVICES 
Contract No: PQ-NO: NHIF/002/2022-2023
1. National Health Insurance Fund intends to pre-qualify -Service Providers for Provision of Legal
Services for a period of two (2) years.
2. It is expected that the Invitation to Tender will be made in March 2023. Tendering will be
conducted through Open National Competitive Method procedures using a standardized tender
document and will be open to all applicants who prequalify.
3. Qualified and interested applicants may obtain further information and inspect the
Prequalification Document during office hours from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM EAT working days only
except holidays at the address given below.
4. A complete set of Prequalification Document in English may be purchased or obtained by
interested applicants upon payment of a non-refundable fees of One Thousand Shillings (Ksh1,
000.00) in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents
obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Prequalification Document may be viewed and downloaded for free from www.nhif.or.ke or on
the PPIP website https://tenders.go.ke. Applicants who download the Prequalification
Document must forward their particulars immediately to tenders@nhif.or.ke to facilitate any
further clarification or addendum.
NOTE: It is however advisable for interested bidders to download the tender
documents from the Website above due to the MOH Covid-19 restrictions and
containment measures

6. Applications for prequalification should be submitted by postal service, or hand/courier delivery,
clearly marked envelopes and delivered to the address given below by 21st March 2023,
10:00a.m Electronic Tenders shall not be permitted.
