KTDA Management Services Limited intends to pre-qualify firms for supply of approximately 87,101 metric tonnes of NPK 26:5:5 chemically compounded/compound fertilizer to small scale tea farmers in Kenya for the year 2022.
KTDA therefore invites manufacturers and/or their authorized agents to submit technical proposals for supply of the above fertilizer. This is a two stage procurement process whereby only technically pre-qualified bidders shall be called upon to submit financial bids in the second stage.
Interested eligible firms may obtain the prequalification documents from the procurement office, on first floor KTDA Farmers Building, Moi Avenue, Nairobi during normal working hours, upon payment of the registration fee. The documents may also be requested upon payment by emailing: procurement(a)ktdateas.com
Applications for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes marked with the tender name and reference number addressed to:

Completed tender documents should be deposited in the tender box at the reception on ground floor, KTDA Farmers Building, Moi Avenue, Nairobi, so as to be received not later than 9.30 AM East African Time on 11th January 2022. The submitted prequalification documents will be opened on the same day. Applicants or their appointed representatives may attend the opening.
KTDA is not obliged to accept any proposal or give reasons thereof. KTDA’s decision on the prequalification process shall be final and only firms pre-qualified shall be invited to submit financial bids.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the tender opening shall be virtual through a video link. Bidders shall be provided with the log-in credentials before the tender opening.
Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification from the tendering process.
